With the IPO of CMA (which will take over the holdings of CMT and CRCT from Capitaland), there’d been fierce sell-down of CMT and CRCT. Many analysts are predicting that Funds will switch out from these 2 REITs to CMA. But, unlike REITs which pays out 90%-100% of earnings as dividends, CMA had stated that they’ll have a lower payout. ie. CMA will be more of a growth story (similar to Capitaland) rather than a dividend play. Seller ’28’ – OCBC. 😀
