It's interesting to see someone (CP = CitiGroup) collecting at this price level, even while the STI was -40+.  Perhaps buying ahead of the expectation of an 8ct dividend for 2H?

Decided to do a switch to STEng (-ve) even though I'd realise a loss.. welcome to my interpretation of the Value Arbitrage approach (from Seth Klarmen book, "Margin of Safety"). 😀

Sell @ $2.73/4/5

Looks like there's active buying in action. Since I don't see any new fundamental info, decided to try out Sam's shorting strategy (using own loss-making holdings ie. Sell Hi – Buy Lo). Worst case, if it doesn't go back down, I'm still ok as I'd been recording Stock Assets at Market Price anyway ie. Net Worth still goes up due to higher prices, despite recognising a real loss….

Sold 3 times and all the Buyer CPs were different – Lim&Tan, UOBKH, DBSV… This really spoil my take that it's Year End Window Dressing in action… Now it looks more like co-ordinated Buying by Traders across different local brokerages…

My own conjectures only… don't rely on that… 😀

Sell @ $2.69

Sold the ones I'd bought recently as a short term play. A pleasant surprise to see that it'd closed @ $2.70 yesterday when I got back. Very low volume but looks like soneone is trying to support the price at this level… Perhaps year end window dressing? 😀

HLFin @ $2.64

Buy @ $2.64

Have not bought back for quite a while… Latest Q3 results looked good but was mainly due to write-backs. Looks like as long as interest rates remain low, their biz will continue to be difficult… Was trying to Jump-Q at 5pm close, but someone else had the same idea… 😀

Sell @ $2.75

xd today and was pleasantly surprised to see it -5ct (Div = 8ct) with 50+ in the Buy Queue. Since I needed the free cash to buy LMIR, I decided to sell some. Balance is still ~12.7% of portfolio and ranked No.3  Closed @ $2.70, -10ct 😀

HLFin @ $2.80

Sell @ $2.80

First thing in the AM, rushed to sell to buyer when I saw some in Q, only to see this price as the low for the day! Range $2.80 to $2.82 ; Vol = 121,000 ; Closed @ $2.80. Finally dropped to No.3 in my portfolio but still have a lot to sell.. 😀

HL Fin @ $2.78

Sell @ $2.78

Reduce my holdings further. This laggard is slowly playing catch up with the market. Good for me as I still have a lot! ðŸ˜€

HLFin @ $2.71

Sell @ $2.71

Finally get to sell the ones I was trying to sell (only 1 lot done the other day). Will continue to sell more if it rises, as I still have lots… 😀

HLFin @ $2.70

Sell @ $2.70

Someone jumped Q me… Only 1 lot done! Minimum charges of $25 applies…

Someone's been patiently buying up for the past weeks, perhaps in anticiaption of a 2H Div = 8ct (same as last year) or seeing this as a laggard play. I still have a lot, will be selling more if prices go up, so that I can switch to other stocks or just keep some free cash. 😀

HLFin @ $2.64

Sell @ $2.64

Has been moving up steadily. Very low volume, either someone's trying to push up (quite easy as low volume) or buying ahead of 2H results in anticipation of an 8ct Div (for past 2 years) or is hopeful that the worst may be over. But, note that annualised EPS = 15.4ct and there's always the possibility they may cut dividend payout further. Further, not sure how the latest Property Cooling Measures will affect them as they didn't seem to be enjoying from the Property Bull market anyway…

Queued since 9:21am and was partially done till 5pm close. Someone from CP = UBS did a 21 lot buy to ensure it closed @ $2.64, unchanged. Total Vol = 102,000 makes this look highly suspicious it's manipulation… 😀
