Prices were strong initially, hitting a high of $3.58. It must have been due to the news yesterday of their 15% stake in an Omani Telco for $10m+. Too bad I didn't contra off my previous buys as it subsequently dropped to a low of $3.48 before closing at $3.50… 😀

Cheaper by the day… Collection becoming substantial … 😀

A new addition to my portfolio. There was a surprise increase of dividend payout from 80% (stated policy) to 100% for FY14 (annc on 19-Jan). This equates to a Yield of 5%+ and share prices hit ~$4. xd on 17-Apr saw prices dropping fm $3.87 to $3.60, a lot more than Div = 11.9ct.

The stated CAPEX planned for FY15 ($120M : $94.7M committed as of end Dec-14, inclusive of $64M for 4G Rights) is much lower than FY14 ($140M + $40M for Spectrum Rights) and some analysts are expecting Payout to be maintained at 100% for FY15 (Yield = 4.223% if Payout = 80% vs 5.28% for 100%). Q115 results on 13-Apr saw EPS = 4.9ct, better than Q114 = 4.6ct.

Too early for Yield Rotations Play as 1H is for Jun Q. But, looks like can buy for longer term… Possible threat will come from IDA releasing a 4th TELCO license… 😀

Decided to contra off as it's +11ct for today. Since total Div = 14.2ct, I decided to leave some $$ on the table and took profit for some kopi-$$. No more left, must be one of the fastest contra I'd done (without intending to)… 😀

Buy @ $3.31

Last evening, they declared a Special Div = 7.1ct + Final Div = 7.1ct for a total of 14.2ct vs 8ct last year.

Just before market opened, Sam alerted me to a matching price of $3.30, which was +6ct from the previous day's close. After some quick discussions, decided to try to Jump-Q… Unfortunately, I was delayed due to this being >5 bids of last done price. As I'd missed the pre-open matching, which is done at 8:58am, I decided to still buy some at $3.31…. 😀

Sell @ $2.51. Contra off as due, no more left. Managed to follow my original priority as a short term trade. Buyer CP = ML & CLSA. 😀

Buy @ $2.48. New addition to my portfolio. Itchy finger, went to Q and got done. Now, I have all 3 TELCOs in my portfolio!

Yield = 5.847% with DPS = 7.9ct xd on 11-Apr. See whether can do a short term trade, but ok to hold for long term also. Seller  CP = CitiGroup. 😀

Sell @ $2.28. My last lots, held since Jun-07! Buyer '79' – JPM. I think they are responsible for the big lots buys that's been pushing the price up for a while now. 😀
