SATS @ $3.10

Buy @ $3.10

New stock to my portfolio. Itchy fingers, used HP to buy at 5pm matching… even though I was out whole day. 😀

Just went xd today (5ct) and dropped -10ct. The Q2 results was released on 5-Oct and prices has dropped from $3.42 then. Results looked ok (flat) to me but it'd appear that market must have been expecting better… PE = 18.67 (vs 20+ then) ; Yield = 4.84% (not that fantastic) ; Cash = $396Mil vs Debts = $122Mil. I'm monitoring their Cash position closely to see if the likelihood of a big Special Dividend for Full Year is possible…

There's also possible support from their Shares Buy Back program…

LMIR @ $0.43

Buy @ $0.43

Itchy fingers.. Decided to buy back (small portion only) what I sold during cd (DPU = 0.87ct) at $0.45 & $0.445. Tried to Jump-Q for $0.425 but didn't succeed. Seller CP = Merrill Lynch & CitiGroup + Phillip & OCBC. 😀

FCT @ $1.805

Buy @ $1.805

Another of my stock which is continuing to drop in prices every day…. Seller CP = Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley & CitiGroup… Looks like maybe Foreign Funds deserting our market again…:D

Forterra @ $2.188

Sell @ $2.17, $2.20

I must have triggered the Buyer (CP = CLSA) to raise the price when I sold to their $2.17 Buy Q twice. Looks like collection on-going and may trend higher in the coming days.

Sold the last of my profitable ones and decided to sell some unprofitable ones also. I think 2015 is a long way to go before they start to pay DPU and I'll go for short term trades in the meantime. 😀

FCT @ $1.81

Buy @ $1.81

Dropped lower than my lowest. Motivated seller with CP = Credit Suisse selling in batches of 3-lots. 😀

LMIR @ $0.445

Sell @ $0.445

Last day of cd, decided to sell my last batch of $0.4x ones (rest all @ $0.5x). I think my exposure to this stock is on the high side and decided to reduce it (still left ~7.8% of Portfolio)… plus, I need more free cash to support NeraTel… 😀

NeraTel @ $0.7217

Buy @ $0.725, $0.72, $0.715, $0.71

Someone from CP = MacQuarie sure has a lot to sell… Unfortunately, I started buying too aggressively at $0.725 and only nibbled at the lower prices. 😀

The Q3 results released on 7-Nov (last Thu) wasn't good… Altho' it showed Better Revenues and Gross Profit, Expenses had ballooned and resulted in lower Net Profits. This can be a serious concern… But, if I read between the lines correctly, this may be due to their aggressive plans to expand the biz.. new hirings, more aggressive sales and marketing… I hope I'm right!

I'll likely buy more if it weakens further… some will be for short term…

LMIR @ $0.45

Sell @ $0.45

Decided to take profit for the ones I'd bought prior to the results. Q3 results was released on 6-Nov after mkt closed. Some points,

  • DPU = 0.87ct vs 0.93ct (Q2) ie. -6.5%
  • Yield = 7.733% ; Gearing = 28.2% ; NAV = $0.4528 (-20% from Q2)

The impact of a weaker Indonesian currency is more pronounced at NAV (-20%) vs DPU (-6.5%). This is likely due to Curency Hedging. The Yield remains attractive if one can stomach the uncertainty due to currency risk.

As I do have quite a significant exposure here, I have decided to sell some of my shorter term ones. I still have one more batch to sell if I do decide to do that before it xd . 😀
