Buy @ $3.09
xd today (Div = 12.5ct) and dropped 15ct. But, STI -32 @ 2962 and many stocks were sold down. Buy some first to replenish my collection. May drop more tomorrow, now glad I sold so aggressively last week! Seller CP = CLSA.

Just another REITDATA Sites site
Buy @ $1.
While checking for the next highest Yield after StarHub, I found out that SingPost Yield =6.25% (same as StarHub @ $3.20!) have now become quite attractive. Further, their payout is @ ~75% (Next Div is usually 2.5ct for Q4 – Mar). I have to prepare a replacement in case I suddenly decide to sell StarHub.
The main thing I don't like is their increasing Gearing and their recent Perpetual Securities (which does lower Gearing) means more funds going into diversification (I fear that it may be diworsification) activities. If executed smoothly, it may transform SingPost into a Growth Stock!
Seller CP – CSFB. 😀
Sell @ $3.26.
Quite reluctant to sell as they'd been lots of positive news lately of their various new orders. But, as xd date (23-Apr) approaches, am also afraid of a huge drop of more than Div = 12.5ct if history repeats. STI is bullish @ 3001, +15 makes me even more reluctant to sell. But, have to remind myself PE = 18.98 ; Yield = 4.74% is no longer that attractive unless I start to view it as a Growth Stock. Will likely switch to SIA Engg.
Can see a battle on-going between 1-lot buyer and seller, with the seller being more aggressive at this point. Buyer CP = CSFB, Macquarie.

Sell @ $3.30. My magic is working again. The moment I sell, it shoots up! I'm clearing my most expensive ones @ $3.266 (Buy on 7-Feb-11) first. In this way, I can consider to buy back the moment it drops to ~$3.26! Buyer CP – DMG.

Sell @ $3.29. Tried to Jump-Q for more $3.30 sales but the Q dropped at the last minute of matching. After the earlier $3.30 sell, prices weakened to ~$3.28 and that's what made me decide to sell more.. Buyer CP – UOBKH. Looks like the 'ang-mo' CP driven buy up is sucking in the local CP ones.
One possible explanation for the buy up is that with the better EPS for FY11, even the current PE of ~19 is still 'cheap' compared to the last 2 years' average of 20-21. If so, then there may be more room to run till $3.5x! PE was even higher at 24 during FY05 – FY07.
For me, take profit first. Let others make the extra 5% – 10%. I buy back again when it drops or if it doesn't, I switch to others which offers me min. 5% Yield.
The final tally for today – sold 2/3 of my holdings. I'm ok to hold the balance or to sell. I'm also open to start buying back at $3.26 based on my accounting recognition of selling the most expensive ones today ie. $3.266, $3.24, $3.215 + the cheapest ones $2.79.
Buy @ $0.182.
Add to my collection. Itchy fingers, buying at my highest price level. STI -12.7 @ 2979, living dangerously! I see a 1-lot buyer @ $0.182/3, so, take it as a signal someone may have a large order to fill.
There's also a possibility that Q412 (Apr) may result in a loss as it's their weakest Q and they may even do a write down of their Properties (Condos) assets due to weakening prices (hi-end mkt). 😀
Sell @ $0.535.
Cleared all my profitable ones, including those from 2 previous rights issues. Am left with some very old, high loss ones and will likely keep that as a beach-head ie. remind me to buy some to average down when it's cheap.
I may use the excess funds to buy other Industrial REITs (Sabana / AIMSAMPReit) as my projected dividends stream has dropped ~10% after the recent selling of >8% Yield Stocks like MIIF, CitySpring, AIMSAMPReit and Cambridge. 😀
Sell @ $0.535.
Just checked and realised I have quite a lot that are profitable (share price have been quietly creeping up), bought 1 year ago. Back then, Yield was >9% and likely the main reason for buying. DPU declined after that for 2 Qs (must be due to dilution of rights / placement shares) before it started to creep up again for 2 Qs. Most recent Q411 DPU = 1.118ct is still lower than one year ago Q311 DPU = 1.193ct!.
Anyway, reasons for selling are, Need free cash + Too much exposure to Industrial REITs (Cambridge Yield =8.292% is lowest amongst my 3). I have more to sell tomorrow if prices are maintained at current level. 😀
