Starhub @ $3.345

Buy @ $3.35, $3.34

Selling continues today in the afternoon on the last day of cd…  Range $3.33 – $3.38… If it drops more than 5ct tomorrow (xd), I'll likely buy more, to stock up for next xd in May… 😀

FCOT @ $1.295

Buy @ $1.30, $1.295, $1.29

Looked like someone had a peek at the results and didn't like what they saw…. kept selling down…  Range $1.285 – $1.305… my Q in $1.285 not done… Closed @ $1.29… Let's see how's DPU tomorrow AM…. 😀

Starhub @ $3.40

Sell @ $3.40

My last profitable lots… 😀

Buy @ $3.35

So nice of the big seller to sell down to this price! Sometimes I wonder if there's a tax benefit for Funds / Institutions to sell before xd ie Is there a Difference in Tax treatment for Dividends vs Capital Gains?

FCOT @ $1.32

Sell @ $1.32

Contra off 2 batches… +3ct, more than my expected DPU = 2.5ct… Take my "DPU" first… 😀

Starhub @ $3.38

Sell @ $3.38

Changed my mind to hold till just before the 2nd xd… STI was weak today due to the failure of the DOHA meeting to cap oil output… However, Starhub stayed strong… Range $3.36 – $3.40… 😀

ComfortDelgro @ $2.91

Sell @ $2.91

Contra off…  At this point in time, STI was -ve and I'd bought M1 & Starhub… Decided to be Kia-Si to free up some cash… 😀

Starhub @ $3.32

Buy @ $3.32

Sudden fierce selling despite opening at $3.37…. 😀

Sell @ $3.37

Contra off, including yesterday's buy… An equally sudden buy up during 5pm matching… Take profit first… 😀

M1 @ $2.42

Buy @ $2.42

With this buy, I have covered all my "shorts". Including transaction costs,

  • Net "Short" Unit Price = $2.604
  • Net "Cover" Unit Price = $2.464
  • Difference = 13.9ct vs 8.3ct (Div) = 5.6ct

Looks quite feasible, especially when mkt is bearish… 😀

M1 @ $2.455

Buy @ $2.46, $2.45

Continue to cover my previous "shorts"… one more buy to go… 😀

Q1 results were out yesterday evening… EPS = 4.5ct vs 4.9ct yoy due mainly to lower handset sales… FCF = 6.9ct, a big jump… can almost pay for 1H Div = 7ct of last year… But, due mainly to Inventories & Trade Debtors ie not on superior profits / margins… Also, Div Payout = 80% of EPS for past 2 years and if maintained, this means a possible lower Div… unless they increase to >80% Payout like 3yrs ago…

Was still contemplating whether to contra off my recent buys at $2.50 in the AM… Range $2.43 – $2.51…
