Add back to my portfolio. Jump-Q during 5pm matching.

Buying as part of Yield otation Stategy (Q2 results last year on 5-Oct ; Div 5ct) and will likely trade on opportunity. EPS for Q1 was weaker y-o-y and have to be prepared that Q2 may face the same weakness.

Add back to my portfolio. Buying early (Q2 results last year on 13-Nov ; Div 10ct) for Yield Rotation Strategy and will likely trade on opportunity. EPS for Q1 was weaker y-o-y, so, have to be prepared that Q2 may suffer similar weakness.

Am selling at a loss but after 3 DPUs, can recognise a pofit…. 😀

Someone was collecting in small Qty in the AM and I decided to make use of the opportunity to sell down my stake further. Reasons remain the same… fear of falling exchange rate, faster than rental reversions and inability to understand their financials well.

IREIT Global @ $0.89

Decided to sell instead of collecting more as Euro is now ~-4%+ lower than the 1.68 – 1.70 used in their IPO DPU projection for a Yield of 7.6% to 8% @ $0.88. That means projected Yield may potentially be  7.22% to 7.57% @ $0.895. Further, the outlook for the Euro don't look very good due to the on-going PIIGS crisis + Russia sanctions + Weakening economy of the stronger Euro nations like Germany.

Will look at it again when their Quarterly results provide better clarity… 😀

For the past few sessions, a seller will appear 5-10mins before 5pm to do some selling at $1.39 and disappear during 5pm matching. Today, one difference is the appearance of $1.385 during 5pm matching…. 😀

Prices are falling every day! One possible reason from SGX Annc after mkt closed… The issuance of 2 MTNs of $275m @ 2.95% & $325m @ 3.85% to fund  the construction of a new yard (ongoing) and a new steel facility. Expected completion aro' Q315, which means Interest Expenses of $20.625m / yr or -3.51% impact using FY13 EPS.

These will be my "extras". The $1.39 ones suddenly appeared in large Qty close to 5pm and I only managed to buy a few lots. Will trade if there's any opportunity… need 2 bids… 😀

SembMarine @ $3.905

I had been wanting to buy back some and was quite prepared to buy at $3.93. Good thing I held back from buying when it first hit $3.92 this AM as the selling seems very strong… perhaps a Fund doing a rebalancing.

For SembMarine, altho' the Yield = 3.3% is on the low side, I'm more attracted to the PE = 14.4 (latest 4Qs) vs other Yield Stocks which are closer to 20. Let's hope this provides some margin of Safety….. 😀

OCBC Rights @ $2.05

Contra off. Prices were weak today. When it recovered and hit my breakeven of $2, I monitored for quite a while and was just about to put into the Sell Q @ $3.02 when a suddenly surge in buying pushed it to $2.05. Closed $2.07 ; Range $1.945 to $2.08 ; Vol = 7,275,000.

With that, I have done a reset. Monday will be a new day. Have to take note that the last day for Rights Trading is 9-Sep (Tue)… 😀
