Sell @ $1.58. Decided to contra off as due today. No more left. 😀
ComfortDelgro @ $1.56
Buy @ $1.56. With STI bashing through 3000 (finally) and economic data showing strong rebound for Q1, market have become very bullish. Buy this laggard defensive stock in case the bull is strong and even if there should be a pull back in STI, I don’t expect Comfort to be much affected as it’s a defensive stock. Main concern is the strengthening S$ (MAS is allowing it to strengthen to fight inflation) as much of their biz is overseas. Seller ’83’ – CitiGroup.

Buy @ $1.31. Join David and TC as shareholders! Don’t quite like the PE 13.66 (but it’s in the middle of SBS : 12.51 @ $1.65 and SMRT : 15.42 @ $1.65) and Yield 3.817% (they hv reduced their payout ratio to ~50%). Still, it’s a laggard in the current rally and had been aro’ this price for 1yr+ now. Seller ’79’ – JP Morgan. 😀
ComfortDelgro @ $1.35
Sell @ $1.35. Decided not to hold as yield (<4%) is not up to my expectation. They seems to hv changed their payout policy to 50% (vs 100% previously) of earnings (the same is observed of SBS, which is their subsidiary). The cash retained had been used to pay down debts but I believe in the mid-term, they are likely cleaning up their balance sheet (for banks ie. lenders to see) so that they can borrow even more money for acquisitions. Buyer code '08' – CS. There seems to be a fight between buyer and seller at the moment (seller won on Friday when it dropped to $1.29). I may still come in to buy for trading purpose if it shld drop below $1.30. 😀
