Buy @ $0.205.

Take the risk to buy at a higher price to average up. Results were good with Div = 0.8ct. If they can maintain this, Yield = 6.341%. 😀

Main fear is the earnings growth may have been mainly contributed by the Malaysia operations which was driven by the free Book Voucher given to their tertiary students by their govt (Election coming?). We'll also see the 26-units condo launch for 8Raja (Balestier area) in the coming quarters. Risk is they may have to make provisions if they're unable to sell.

STI -50 @ 2772! Scary… The most recent buy by Mr Chou @ $0.188 is not providing any support as it was a married deal. I use the previous one @ $0.182 as an indicator of a possible support level. 😀

Pre-open matching @ $0.18 for 200 lots but I missed that. Looks like yesterday's big drop in STI had flushed out all the traders here. With STI +11 @ 2936, I see some urgent selling in larger lot size here. Unless… it's Mr Chou (owner) himeself! 😀

STI -47 @ 2942. Good chance for me to collect some due to market fears. 😀

With SC Global doing write-downs in their Condo assets, there's also a chance Popular Hldgs may do the same for their coming results and end in a quarterly loss as that's their weakest Q. One key difference is SC Global condos sells at the Very Hi end of $3000++psf while Popular Hldgs condos are at ~$1800psf (still high compared to mass mkt ones).

I was right, last Friday's rise must be due to traders. Went to Q and was expecting it to not get done as it went up to a high of $0.188. Went out to pick up the kids and got done! 😀

Add to my collection. Itchy fingers, buying at my highest price level. STI -12.7 @ 2979, living dangerously! I see a 1-lot buyer @ $0.182/3, so, take it as a signal someone may have a large order to fill.

There's also a possibility that Q412 (Apr) may result in a loss as it's their weakest Q and they may even do a write down of their Properties (Condos) assets due to weakening prices (hi-end mkt). 😀

Buy @ $0.179. Partially done after queueing for whole day. Sellers only appeared during the last hour but was overwhelmed by buyers at the last few minutes. 😀

Buy @ $0.181.

Decided to buy at a higher price (5.2% higher than $0.172, my previous highest buy). I'd not added any more buys since doing that Accounts check on World Hldgs (Mr Chou's Investment co. for his Pouplar Hldgs shares) and other homework + legwork!

My sudden urgency to buy was triggered by the SGX Annc of Mr Chou's (54% owner) buy @ $0.17741 of 3173 lots on 30-Mar. With that buy, he's raised the bar and I doubt it'll drop below $0.178. The other interesting thing is the huge Buy Qty as his previous forays (buy or sell) are usually done in a smaller Qty. Anyway, I read this as his new intent ie. to buy.

I was behind a 100 lot Buy Q and suddenly, sellers started to appear. All Local brokerage CP – 20 (Phillip), 21 (Kim Eng), 28 (OCBC), 29 (DBSV). I have some more in $0.18 buy Q. 😀

Buy @ $0.18. Someone just dumped ~400 lots! The sellers finally appeared, maybe they're the contra traders who jumped in last week when Popular Hldgs was moving upwards. 😀

Buy @ $0.171. Add to my collection. Decided not to wait for $0.17 or lower. Collect some more 1st. 😀

May not have much room to go up and may be capped at $0.18 as Mr Chou (~54% major shareholder) sold some at that price recently. Refer to talkstock blog latest comment for more info.

Buy @ $0.172. Got impatient and decided to buy at 0.1ct higher. I ended up more than doubling my holdings today. Better pray they don't go into a loss for Q4 (Apr)! From now onwards, I plan to add more to my collection only if it drops below my lowest buy price ie. $0.171. 😀
