StarHub @ $2.89

Sell @ $2.89. Queued for fun but got done in a sudden buy up spurt. STI -38 @ 2679 but StarhHub +2ct (in recent times, seems like a populat defensive stock when STI is falling). Buyer CP '82' – MS. 😀

StarHub @ $2.79

Buy @ $2.79. Decided to buy back some as I sold off quite a bit last time. Next quarterly results will be out on 9-Nov. Volume is quite high today and it dropped -3ct, with STI +48 @ 2760. Seller '70' – CLSA. 😀

I'm speculating that the above may mean that foreign funds are moving out of defensive stocks to go into riskier stocks as the worst in the Europe crisis may have bottomed. Just speculating only!

StarHub @ $2.87

Sell @ $2.87. Hit my target of $2.86. Sell some more. Buyer CP '26' – BNP, same as yesterday and '70' – CLSA. 😀

StarHub @ $2.84

Sell @ $2.84. My ideal sell price is $2.86 as that's where the yield drops below 7%. But, got impatient and decided to start my selling as I'm out of free cash and I plan to get others which'd dropped in price recently. Saw quite a few analysts' reports recommending 'Buy' for TELCOs which are defensive for the recession which they are anticipating. Buyer CP '26' – BNP. 😀

StarHub @ $2.61

Sell @ $2.61. Take profit for my two most recent buys (mid-Feb). There're a lot of stocks that are much cheaper now (STI -80 @ 2950) and I may even sell some of my older holdings if I find it attractive enough. Buyer CP '31' – DMG, same as LS. 😀

From the SGX Announcement, StarHub did their Share Buy-Back today for 700,000 shares at an average price of $2.6023 ($2.59 to $2.62). No wonder the share price was steady while others were dropping!
