StarHub @ $2.59

Buy @ $2.59. Yield @ 7.722%. Seller CP '73' – Macquarie dumped 138 lots. 🙂

Latest results on 11-Feb. Although EPS = 4.69ct for Q410, Starhub have stated that they'll continue with the DPS = 5ct / Q for FY11. As I was worried about EPS being lower than DPS (I was expecting EPS to recover back to 5ct in Q410), I went to read the Cash Flow to check if they are depleting their Cash to pay out dividends. Some interesting points for FY09 vs FY10,

 – Cash : $234.2Mil (FY09) ; $237.5Mil (FY10) => +$3.5Mil

 – Debts : $895Mil (FY09) ; $805Mil (FY10) => -$90Mil

ie. Not Only do Starhub have enough cashflow for the Dividend Payout, but they even had extra cashflow to reduce their debts by $90Mil! I also looked at their CAPEX and there was no cutting down there either. The extra Cash Flow (to pay dividend) is coming from the Depreciation (a non-cash item). Let's hope I read the Cash Flow statement correctly. 😀

StarHub @ $2.62

Sell @ $2.62. Decided to take some profits as I have extra. Noticed buying interest since yesterday (when STI was ~-50), today +7ct so far. Perhaps people are switching to defensive stocks due to market uncertainty or due to coming results on 11-Feb. 😀

StarHub @ $2.56

Buy @ $2.56. Am taking risk here as Q410 results may see a flat EPS and the guidance for FY11 EPS may be lower. Seller '82' – MS. 😀

StarHub @ $2.70

Buy @ $2.70. I hope I'm not doing something silly, buying at this kind of price! Drop 6ct (-2.2%) today vs STI +0.04% (was in -ve territory whole day). Latest quarterly results shows EPS = 4.78ct and it looks like the worst is over (dropped to 2.49ct in Q110). It's therefore not that worrying now as it looks like they have a good chance to be able to continue paying at least 4.5ct div / Q (now 5ct) for next year (got to see their guidance in Q4). At 5ct/Q, the yield is 7.4% (but drops to 6.67% @ 4.5ct/Q). 😀

StarHub @ $2.11

Buy @ $2.11. Add to my collection. Q409 results were out yesterday evening. EPS 4.33ct is quite bad but they are maintaining Div of 5ct/Q, even for 2010. Without looking at their financials in greater detail, I suspect the lower EPS may be chiefly due to higher Year End Bonus + Marketing Expenses (for iPhone and year end promo). Got to watch their next Q results closely. 😀

StarHub @ $2.03

Sell @ $2.03. Decided to contra off as due today. Good results released yesterday with increase in div fm 4.5ct to 5ct. 😀

StarHub @ $1.88

Buy @ $1.88. Add more to my collection before their results next week (10-Nov). At most one more buy if it drops further, already my No.1 stock in my portfolio! Seller ’20’ – Phillip
