Genting @ $1.485

Sell @ $1.485

Contra off all as the earlier buy is due for payment. Further, decided to free up cash to focus on other stocks.

Looks like I was lucky to have made this decision as mkt weakened considerably after that due to fears from China PMI data…

NeraTel @ $0.715

Buy @ $0.715

Just realised that most of my recent buys were in the range $0.725 to $0.735. Decided to add more and not get deterred by the fact I didn't buy more when it was closer to $0.70 or below (had very low free cash back then, till I sold more HLFin recently). 😀

CMT @ $1.8894

Buy @ $1.89, $1.895, $1.885

A new stock for my current portfolio.

Results looks good, with DPU = 2.72ct, up from 2.56ct last Q. The positive impacts from several AEIs is finally being felt. Main negatives are NAV = $1.71 ie. Current Mkt Price is at a Premium. Gearing = 35.3% is so-so. Yield = 5.7% is also below All REITs Average = 6.79%. Main reason to buy is the improved DPU and likely more to come for next Qs. Further, CMT is a market favourite, perhaps due to it's being Temasek linked.

Seller CP are Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley & CitiGroup… all foreign brokerages! Looks like I'll have to wait for their selling to stop and local CPs to come in… Hee.. 😀

STEng @ $3.90

Sell @ $3.90

Sold the rest of my holdings. Treat it as a reset and gives me the option to either come back again or focus on other stocks. 😀

M1 @ $3.35

Sell @ $3.35

Decided to contra off as it's +11ct for today. Since total Div = 14.2ct, I decided to leave some $$ on the table and took profit for some kopi-$$. No more left, must be one of the fastest contra I'd done (without intending to)… 😀

M1 @ $3.31

Buy @ $3.31

Last evening, they declared a Special Div = 7.1ct + Final Div = 7.1ct for a total of 14.2ct vs 8ct last year.

Just before market opened, Sam alerted me to a matching price of $3.30, which was +6ct from the previous day's close. After some quick discussions, decided to try to Jump-Q… Unfortunately, I was delayed due to this being >5 bids of last done price. As I'd missed the pre-open matching, which is done at 8:58am, I decided to still buy some at $3.31…. 😀

A new addition to my current portfolio.

Vard @ $0.86

Sell @ $0.86

Realised a loss here. Trying out the 'short' strategy (using own holdings). It'd moved up from a low of $0.805, after they recently announced an order for one vessel. I'm not too optimistic that their Brazil woes will be resolved by the next quarterly results for Dec-13… 😀
