NeraTel @ $0.76

Sell @ $0.76

Had been running up from low $0.6x since the results of Myanmar TELCO license was announced. The 2 winners of the tenders are customers of Neratel and there'd been a couple of analysts' reports that painted Neratel as a winner…. But, Neratel will also have to tender for any projects to supply the 2 winners. Another optimistic point in the analyst reports was the potential for an Special Interim Dividend due to a realised profit from their acquisition of Nera Malaysia. The estimate is $5Mil in cash or ~1.4ct.

Using Dividend Yield for valuation, my ideal price would be at Yield = 4% ie. $1. But, a more practical target would be Yield = 5% ie. 80ct. But, kia-su a bit, sell some first… 😀

KGT @ $1.035

Buy @ $1.035

1H results will be out in a couple of weeks. For 1H, DPU = 3.13ct for past 2 years. Prices ought to be supported at NAV = $1.01 in the shorter term. Target for a short term trade. 😀

Vard @ $0.905

Buy @ $0.905

The slide continues… -6ct with Vol = 17,749,000 on a day when STI is +32.39. Q2 Results will be out on 11th, let's see how bad it's going to be…. 😀

SingTel @ $3.75

Sell @ $3.75

Decided to take profit, no more left. Prices should continue to be supported by the 10ct cd & Optus Satellite sale. Their loss in Myanmar bid is being seen positively by analysts as that means they won't be committing lots of $$ to build the infrastructure there. 😀

Vard @ $0.965

Buy @ $0.965

Did a Jump-Q at 5pm…

They issued a Profit Guidance last Friday. Profits will be lower than market consensus due to bigger than expected losses in Brazil. If I read correctly, Q2 will still be profitable but the recovery momentum seen in Q1 (EPS = 3.4ct) will most likely be lost and EPS will most likely be lower than even Q412 (EPS = 2.31ct) where I'd expected to have been the bottom… Try for short term play (smal tikam only) as -12.5ct with huge Vol = 14,114,000, sounds bad…only 1s & 4s… Perhaps Traders & Shortists at work… 😀

Saizen @ $0.184

Buy @ $0.184

Partially replace those that were sold 1 week+ back when MS put in a 5Mil shares buy order @ $0.195 during 5pm matching (jumped from $0.186 last done at 5pm).. Thanks to Sam for alerting us and of course MS for their huge order… 😀

Portfolio Q213

NOTE

I have reverted back to a Stock Category display, instead of each individual ones. Main reason is Popular Hldgs is again a huge part of my pie and 5/11 of my stocks are <5% each (making it difficult for visual display).

Portfolio Breakdown

My portfolio (at cost) of S'pore stks for Q213 close,

Portfolio Q213

Summary

The STI closed at 3150.44, -0.53%% from end 2012. Using cost as a reference, my portfolio stats (vs 2012),
  • Size : +8.19% (Cost) / +12.27% (Market Value)
  • Portfolio Performance vs End-2012 Mkt Value : +4.37% (Unrealised) +6.71% (Realised) + 2.48% (Div) = +13.56%
  • Further Breakdown of Realised Profits : 5.49% (Stocks Bought before 2013) + 1.22% (Stocks Bought in 2013)

So, +13.56% vs -0.53% (STI), better than STI. Dropped from Q113 +18.51% vs +4.45% (STI) but still satisfactory. The market pull back came in fast and furious in June. Some of the Yield Stocks and REITs which I'd sold previously is beginning to look attractive again. Looks like for Q3, I may be switching back from Small Caps to Yield Stocks + REITs….

F&N @ $8.43

Buy @ $8.43

STI was -60 early in AM. Queued when STI seems to be recovering and only 1 lot done. 😀

SingTel @ $3.57

Buy @ $3.57

A new addition to my portfolio. Buy price is higher than my last sell price many months ago. With STI -80.53 @ 3133.26, SingTel was -12ct, Am betting that it'll be supported by their 10ct div and the sale of Optus Satellite, est. @ A$2Bil. Target short term but ok to hold for longer term. 😀

APTT @ $0.92

Sell @ $0.92

Finally able to take a small profit! End of my experiment. Many other possible choices now available in the market, no need for such new tikams… Too exciting as it'd continued to drop, even with Stabilising Mgr support. Noticed quite a few substantial shareholders seemingly involved in trading activities…. Better run before I get trapped… Don't look back unless too much free cash ….:D
