Q107 Close

My portfolio (at cost) of S’pore and M’sia stks for Q107 close,

The STI closed at 3231.24, +8.22% fm end 2006. Using cost as a ref, my portfolio stats,

  1. Size : +2.54%
  2. Realised Profit/Loss : +10.33% (Profits : +8.93% ; Div : +1.40%)
  3. Unrealised Profit/Loss : +37.28% or -1.08% (taking into acct +39.34% carry fwd fm 2006)
  4. Net Portfolio Performance : 10.33% – 1.08% = 9.25%

So, 9.25% vs 8.22% (STI), only marginally better than STI. If we remove the div component, then 7.95% vs 8.22% (STI), ie underperformed!

Changes in portfolio,

  1. New Additions : FirstREIT, Metro, SembMarine, CitySpring
  2. Increases : MacCookPSF, ThomsonMed
  3. Decreases : SPH, SingPost, Cambridge
  4. No Change : PBankF, SPAus
  5. No More : MMP, MIIF, AllCo

SingPost @ $1.12

Buy @ $1.12. Eyeing the final div for end-Mar FY, expecting >1.25ct. But, may also contra in short term 😀

CitySpring @ $1.48

Buy @ $1.48. Yield @ 4.059%, must be crazy to buy at such low yield! But, asset size is small and they can easily bring the yield up to 5%+ if they were to do an acquisition of the same asset size. Also, many fund mgrs buying at $1.5x, so I expect to be able to sell easily at aro’ $1.52 😀

K1 @ $0.325

Sell @ $0.325. Sell all so as not to incur a loss (bot’ at $0.325 and $0.30). Will buy back again if it drops below NAV $0.322. 😀

SPH @ $4.28

Buy @ $4.28. STI -12. Add to my collections, got influenced by the latest UOBKayHian report (see forum), but may still sell in S/T depending on prices and mkt condition 😀
