Buy @ $0.945

Itchy fingers… A new stock to my current portfolio. I previously sold at huge losses my entire stake when I was short on cash and it didn't look like their Brazil Niteroi Yard was going to stop bleeding…

Their Q114 results were released just before mkt opened. EPS = 1.61ct was lower than last Q = 1.95ct. Share price had previously climbed quickly from 87.5ct (I sold all mine before that at lower prices..)  to a high of $1+ after the last results when EPS improved from Q3 = 1.36ct as many were betting on a continued recovery. So, I guess the market must have been caught by surprise by the lower EPS… Yesterday, it closed at 99ct and this AM, it quickly dropped to a low of 94ct…

So, why buy?

A closer examination of the profit breakdown shows that despite a lower Revenue (q-o-q), the profit was actually higher from Gross to Operating to PBT. What caused the lower EPS q-o-q was the taxation. For Q4, there was also what looked like Tax writeback as Net Profit ended up higher than PBT.

My conclusion is Q1 was actually showing continued improvement and very likely, we have seen the worst of Brazil Niteroi Yard problems.. In addition, it was stated that for Niteroi Yard, 1 vessel had been delivered in April and another will be delivered in May, ie for Q2 (Jun), the overload would be greatly eased.. Further, with the World Cup in June, here would be lesser competition for Labour as facilities construction would have been completed by then

Logical?

On top of that, Q1 also saw a big increase in their Order Book.

Anyway, just a small bet and can be short term… 😀

FCT @ $1.775

Buy @ $1.775

Add back, despite my misgivings on their impending Equity Fund Raising for Changi Point acquisition.. Add DPU = 2.88ct => $1.8038, can act as replacement for the $1.805 ones which I'd sold. Still, can be for short term… 😀

Starhub @ $4.105

Buy @ $4.11, $4.10

Itchy fingers… a new addition to my current portfolio. Can't remember when I was last vested.. and sold at much lower prices.. Consider it as a Yield Rotation Play… 😀

Neratel @ $0.78

Sell @ $0.78

Continue with my selling… Motivated by STI -30 at one point in time…. This week, market may be volatile as the US FED is meeting on Wed, US Job data on Fri plus China PMI data on Wed, according to the news. Good to have free cash, lots of it, if possible.. 😀

SIAEC @ $4.88

Buy @ $4.88

Itchy fingers… add back to my portfolio by Jump-Q at 5pm. Change of plan, after doing a fair bit of selling recently. Need to re-deploy my free cash, otherwise idling around earning little return from bank interest…, Further, need to revive Yield Rotation Strategy as I'd sold off all my SATS.. 😀

Neratel @ $0.7803

Sell @ $0.78, $0.785

Gave up on waiting for higher prices and sold more at $0.78. A few lots were done at $0.785 after queueing whole day. AGM on 29-Apr & xd on 5-May are the days to watch out for any changes in share prices. I've managed to sell all of my extras, bought at >$0.725. Am left with those extras bought at +/- 70ct. Will likely clear those >70ct and may keep those high 60s ones, depending on the price… 😀

FCT @ $1.84

Sell @ $1.84

Jump-Q before mkt opened to sell some of my old ones. Gives me a choice to either buy back if prices drop or switch over to more of FCOT. Am still having lingering fears of the New Equity Fund Raising for the proposed acquisition of Changi Point. I may just wait another couple of Qs for the dust to settle before I do more buys. If prices continue to go up, especially before xd (28-Apr), I'm inclined to divest my entire stake… 😀

Popular Hldgs @ $0.265

Sell @ $0.265

Share Buy-Back script being tweaked and played out… I queued and it got done..

For tomorrow, the Max Average Buy Price = 27.09ct. I'll most likely try to sell some @ 27ct even though there's a very high likelihood that they will continue with their Buy Back till 28ct (previous high)… 😀

SATS @ $3.13

Sell @ $3.13

Decided to clear my last lots as I have been adding new stocks to my portfolio and my hands are getting full. Need to focus… both time and money on fewer stocks so that I can do a better job… 😀

FCT @ $1.8325

Sell @ $1.83, $1.835

Contra off my recent ones @ $1.83 and Jump-Q at 5pm to sell some older ones. With my addition of FCOT to my portfolio, I decided not to have too many FCT. Treat it as a switch ie REIT-for-REIT, Fraser-for-Fraser (same ultimate boss). FCOT has slightly better Yield, NAV discount but poorer Gearing (DBSV estimates FCT Gearing to go up to 32.5% after Changi Point acquisition),
